This autumn excursion aligns with the IB transdisciplinary theme “What is our place in time and space?”
老师们带着宝贝们从个人经历和本地视角出发,深入探索现代科技如何连接个人、社区与全球文明的发展。
We guided the children on a journey to explore how modern technology connects individuals, communities, and the global advancement of civilization, starting from personal experiences and local perspectives.

科技馆不仅是知识的殿堂,更是 IB 学习者实践精神的舞台。
The Science Museum is not just a hub of knowledge, but also a stage where IB learners can put their spirit of inquiry into practice.
孩子们在真实的科学环境中,通过亲身操作、观察、思考,体验科技如何改变了人类的生活方式、居住方式与探索方式。
In a real-world scientific environment, the children had the opportunity to engage through hands-on activities, observations, and reflections, experiencing firsthand how technology has transformed human lifestyles, ways of living, and methods of exploration.

在交互式展厅中,孩子们成为小小科学家,通过探究式学习理解科学原理,培养批判性思维。他们不仅 “看” 科技,更在动手实践中 “做” 科学。
In the interactive exhibits, the children became young scientists, exploring scientific principles through inquiry-based learning while developing critical thinking skills. They didn’t just “see” technology; they actively “did” science through practical, hands-on experiences.

体育 & 户外 Physical & Outdoor Activities
在秋日阳光下,孩子们跨越展厅与室外,用奔跑、观察、协作等方式,展现身体与心智的和谐统一。
Under the autumn sunshine, the children moved between the exhibition halls and outdoor spaces, running, observing, and collaborating in ways that showcased the harmonious integration of body and mind.

看着孩子们在真实世界里睁大好奇的双眼,驻足沉思,与同伴讨论,在互动中发出惊叹;
When we are watching the children open their curious eyes in the real world, kids are pausing thoughtfully and discussing with peers, they are expressing awe during interactive moments
那一刻,我们明白了什么叫 “纸上得来终觉浅,绝知此事要躬行”。
this was when we truly understood the saying: “What is learned from books feels shallow; real understanding comes from personal experience.”

雏鹰们在对应年龄的科技馆里,用好奇心丈量时空的广度,用实践去触摸科技的温度。
The Igors, across preschool, pre-K, and Kindergarten classes, each visited the Science Museum best suited to their age group. With curiosity, they explored the vastness of space-time and touched the essence of technology through practical experiences.
