On Thursday, we celebrated our amazing Winter Wonderland Christmas event !
12月23日，普林斯顿国际幼儿园全体师生和家长们，共同举办了一场令人惊叹的“冬季仙境圣诞慈善活动”！
The children first enjoyed a Christmas movie in the morning before going home at noon, they then returned in the evening for all of our fun festivities !
上午，老师带着孩子们一起观看了一场圣诞主题电影，为下午的“冬季仙境圣诞慈善活动”预热。随后，孩子们在爸爸妈妈的带领下，回家换上精心准备的节目演出服装，准备盛装出席。
Our hosts for the evening were Nicola and Fanny, who did a great job introducing the evening.
下午16:20，盛大的圣诞慈善活动式开始！本次活动主持人由Nicola老师和Fanny老师共同担任，在她们趣味、生动的介绍中，早已迫不及待的孩子们隆重登场。
First up were some Christmas carols performed by each class. The Kindergarten classes sang ‘Santa Claus is coming to town’, followed by Pre-School with ‘Snowflakes Falling from the Sky’, next was our adorable toddlers doing the ‘Reindeer Hokey Pokey’ and finally our Pre-K students with ‘Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer’.
首先是普林斯顿国际幼儿园的小朋友们以班为单位，依次上台演唱《圣诞老人来了》、《雪花从天而降》、《驯鹿Hokey Pokey》、《红鼻子驯鹿鲁道夫》等脍炙人口的经典圣诞颂歌，之后，我们梅林云海谷教学点的小朋友也带来了经典的舞台剧《小红帽》。
The children have been practicing the carols for weeks and they really put in a lot of hard work. They were also wearing some beautiful costumes to match our ‘Winter Wonderland’ theme.
为了今天的演出，孩子们做足了万全准备，精心准备了梦幻演出服、为让节目能完美演出足足练习了好几个星期，有付出就有收获，孩子们赢得了阵阵掌声。
On top of the carols by our students, our foreign teachers and Doreen also performed a play. It was called ‘A Christmas Dream’ and told a story of a young girl named Lucy whose biggest wish was to go to the North Pole to meet Santa !
最后一个节目，是我们的外教老师和Doreen老师表演的戏剧“圣诞梦”。戏剧讲述了一个名叫Lucy的小女孩，她最大的愿望是去北极和圣诞老人见面！
The children really enjoyed the performance and even got to see Santa Claus himself !
老师们精彩、生动的表演得到全场家长、孩子们的掌声和欢呼声，最让人惊喜的是，大家还亲眼看到了“圣诞老人”！
Next it was time for our Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony ! All of the children gathered outside !
节目表演结束后，大家纷纷聚集到室外活动区，共同见证隆重的圣诞树点灯仪式！
Finally, it was time to meet Santa Claus ! Each child received a present and even had the opportunity to take pictures with Santa.
在教学楼门前的广场上，一颗高大的圣诞树立在那儿，树下是“圣诞老人”精心为孩子们准备的圣诞礼物。每个小朋友都能从“圣诞老人”这里领到专属的圣诞礼物，并有机会跟“圣诞老人”合影。
we even got to enjoy a very special dance performed by our Chinese teachers ! Some of our students also had a talent prepared for our mini talent show ! Well done to all students for their time and effort. It was a great performance !

Outside is where we hosted our ‘Winter Wonderland Charity Bazaar’.
点灯仪式之后，我们的“冬季仙境慈善义卖活动”正式开始啦！
We had many different stalls selling food and treats like warm heart snacks, pizza, irresistible deserts and candied fruit. We had stalls with cute christmas accessories, magic balloons and face painting, not to mention some exciting games like ‘Throw and Win’, ‘The Giant Snowglobe’ and our ‘Wintery Slip n’ Slide’. There really was so many cool things to do and wonderful items to buy.
普林斯顿国际幼儿园家委会的家委们，为本次活动精心准备了各式各样的义卖摊位，有以食物和零食为主的能量补给站、有以小朋友最爱的甜食为主的糖果屋、还有“套圈”、“巨大的雪球”、“冬季滑梯”等有趣好玩的项目。
Most importantly of all, Christmas is a time for giving and with this in mind, all the money raised from our stands at the Charity Bazaar was donated to a local children’s hospital.
圣诞节是一个互赠温暖的时刻，我们在本次圣诞慈善集市摊位上筹集的所有资金，都将捐赠给了当地的一家儿童医院。
In this way our school is able to spread some Christmas cheer to people who really need it this year !
通过这种方式，我们不仅让孩子们能够切身体会圣诞节的内涵，也让那些真正需要帮助的人，感受到圣诞带来的温情与快乐！
In the week leading up to Christmas, we also made many Christmas crafts and even decorated some gingerbread treats. We had our picture day where each student had a lovely picture taken of them in their festive wear.
一直以来，圣诞节活动都是我们特别重视的节日活动。在圣诞节前一周，普林斯顿国际幼儿园的老师们就开始制作各种精美的圣诞工艺品、装饰了许多姜饼点心。我们还专门设置了拍照日，为每个穿着节日服装的小朋友拍下可爱的单人照片。
There have been a lot of busy little elves working their socks off all week to make sure it was going to be a very magical Winter Wonderland so well done to all of our lovely teachers !
这一周，有很多忙碌的“小精灵”都在拼命工作，以确保本次“冬季仙境”圣诞活动得以顺利开展，在此，请允许我向我们可爱的老师们说一声“老师，辛苦了！”
