Have you ever wondered about the origin of Father’s Day?
Father’s Day is celebrating its 111th Anniversary this year on June 19th, and it all began when a young woman wanted to honour her father.
Ever since that first Father’s Day we have been honouring our own fathers every year for all their love and dedication to their families.

今年是第111个父亲节。最早的父亲节是起源于一个小女孩想要感谢她的父亲。
从那以后，我们都会在每年6月第3个星期日这一特定日子，感谢父亲们的爱和付出。

The Starfish class
Our cutest Starfish will show their love to dad by giving him a hand-made tie and expressing their love in a video with the help of their loving teachers.
海星班的小朋友自己动手给爸爸制作了一条领带，来表达对爸爸的爱。
The Bear class
Our little bears celebrated our fathers in a Superhero theme. Each dad will receive their own Superhero figure and to top it all off, the Bears made their fathers a delicious sandwich to show their appreciation.
小熊班的孩子们送给了自己爸爸一个超级英雄贺卡。爸爸对孩子们来说就是超级英雄一般的存在，不是吗？除此之外，他们还亲手给爸爸制作了爱心三明治！爸爸们也太幸福了吧！
The Giraffe class
The Giraffes went all out with their hand made superhero capes! We are certain that their “Super” dads will look the part when they put them on. “Our fathers are always there to save the day.” Said the students of the Giraffe class.
长颈鹿班的宝贝们给爸爸做了超人斗篷，我们都能想象到爸爸们穿上斗篷英勇无比的样子。
The Rabbit class
Our Rabbits made a very personal gift to dad. Their father’s will be honoured with a personalised picture frame with a picture of themselves and their dad. The students couldn’t wait to show their dads the gift they made in honour of their fathers.
兔子班的宝贝们给爸爸准备了别出心裁的礼物—他们亲手制作了一个相框，而且里面框上了自己和爸爸的合影！
The Elephant class
The Elephants put their own personal touch on a hand printed pot plant! They painted their own hands, printed it on a cardboard that looks like a pot and decorated the picture into a beautiful pot plant.
大象班的宝贝们给爸爸们准备了一盆花，我们都像花朵一样在爸爸的呵护下健康茁壮成长！看，每一盆花都有小宝贝们自己的手印呢！小宝贝们还自己签上了名字！
The Parrot class
Every parrot made a trophy for their fathers using only their artistic abilities and love. The trophy symbolizes that their dad is No. 1 in their lives. The students are going to use this trophy as Father’s day card to give as a token of their love and appreciation for their fathers.
鹦鹉班的宝贝们制作了一个奖杯送给爸爸们。在他们眼里爸爸就是最棒的！
The Lion class
Our proud Lions made a beautiful Father’s day card in the shape of a shirt and tie. The students expressed that their fathers are their role models and they look up to them for guidance and support. The Lions also made a personal video that they will share with the parents on Father’s Day.
狮子班的宝贝们给爸爸们手工制作了一件衬衣和领带，他们说“爸爸就是他们的榜样，给他们成长路上提供支持和引导”。
The Ladybug class & The Koala class
The Ladybugs and Koalas will honour their dads with a hand-made mosaic coaster. This work of art took a lot of precision and hard work.
Koalas also played the game ‘Guess the dad!’.
瓢虫班宝贝们和考拉班宝贝们给爸爸制作了一个马赛克拼接杯垫。考拉们还玩了“猜猜是谁爸爸”的游戏。
We hope we succeeded in showing our gratitude and appreciation to all our hard working fathers! Thank you for taking care of us, protecting us and loving us in a way that only a dad can.
