On March 30th and 31st, 2021, Princeton International Ocean Kindergarten held a new semester parents’ meeting. To promote a bridge of trust between the families and the Kindergarten, parents put down their busy work, went to the kindergarten, and talked with teachers about their children’s future.
At the meeting teachers worked with parents to further consolidate the power of cooperation, create a harmonious educational atmosphere, and work together to promote a happy and healthy growing environment for the children.
为了进一步凝聚家园合作的力量，建构家园共育的桥梁，营造和谐的教育氛围，一起携手促进幼儿的健康快乐成长，2021年3月30日、31日下午，普林斯顿海洋幼儿园召开新学期家长会，家长们也放下手中繁忙的工作，走进幼儿园，与老师们一起聊聊孩子们的那些事儿……
After measuring the temperature and signing in, the parents entered their child’s classroom and sat down attentively. There were handwork displays as well as little secret gifts for Mom and Dad prepared by the children!
在测温入园、签到进场后，让我们一起来寻找孩子们成长的足迹吧。除了日常的手工作品展示，孩子们还为爸爸妈妈准备了一份神秘小礼物！
The teachers of each class introduced the class activities and child’s performance in the kindergarten to the parents in detail. They also introduced the major events, teaching objectives, theme contents and matters requiring parents’ cooperation for this semester.
For children of different ages, the communication focus of each class was also different, so that parents can understand the age characteristics and development needs of the children.
各班老师们分别就本学期开学以来的班级活动及幼儿在园表现，向与会家长做了详细的介绍，还向家长们介绍了本学期重大活动、教学目标、主题内容、需要家长配合的事项等内容。
针对不同年龄的幼儿，各班的交流侧重点也不相同，让家长们更好地了解孩子们的年龄特征和敏感期，以更好地帮助幼儿成长。
The parents’ meeting is the bridge of communication of homework and the link of common education of home life.
Through this event, the parents will understand the kindergarten, understand the children, and understand the teachers, while also letting the teacher listen to their aspirations and needs. Therefore, parents’ communication and sharing, of course, is essential.
家长会是家园工作沟通的桥梁，是家园共育的纽带。通过家长会让家长了解幼儿园、了解孩子、了解老师，让老师也听听家长的心声，了解家长的需求。因此家长们的交流分享，当然是必不可少的。
No matter it is a father who is usually unhappy, a mother who comes home late at night, or a teacher who is still preparing lessons on weekends, the topic at the moment is only one, that is, the children.
无论是平时不苟言笑的爸爸、深夜才回到家的妈妈，还是周末仍在备课的老师，此刻的话题都只有一个，那就是“孩子”。这群促膝长谈的“大孩子”们，无法替孩子们成长，只希望这些默默的付出，能够让他们更加健康快乐。
We like to compare the home-kindergarten cooperation like the four wheels of a car. Only by finding the right direction can the car go fast. This parents’ meeting is another effort to find the right direction for common education and heart to heart communication.
Finally, we want to drive home the importance of love and communication, a warm education, from the beginning of these children’s journey, until the end. Let us bear our wheels, and steer them in a better direction toward a speedy growth, and a happier future.
